Merry Christmas, you’re a legend with a kind heart. I donate puppies. Yes puppies lol. I have a disability & an assistance dog so we give others the opportunity to have the same. We donate about 4 a year to people with disabilities. 🤗🎅🏼
I make Boxwood wreaths from the many trees on my property to give to my elderly neighbors. The biggest gift for them is usually the time I spend with them upon delivery. DJ is 100! Pauline is 96 and Linda is a young'n at 82.
And Invite my friends to make their own wreath to take home with them. The wreath parties have become a holiday tradition in my neighborhood!
KC Book Beat is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Kansas City’s local authors. We have a small but mighty team that helps our authors connect to the community. We are fully run by volunteers that have the same passion and dedication to making a difference in our community. We love ice cream too! :)
I make a donation each December to a different animal rescue in my state. This year it was a Rottweiler rescue for my late dog, Jax, who was part Rott and passed away in August.
Working with a teacher at one of our elementary schools in town, our Bunco group purchased toys, a bike, and clothes for a ten-year-old boy with a single mom and no money. One of the things he listed that he wanted? A toothbrush. I promise you he got one of those.
We give out baked goods to everyone we know. We donate to charities like Make A Wish Foundation and Saint Jude’s. We do the same things all year round. We help people we know whenever we are asked for help.
Thank you for all you do for booksellers!

Put the hat on James! Ho ho ho :) thanks for all you do!
